Have you ever found yourself in a situation where the experience was less than ideal? Often those less than ideal situations can either be escalated or soothed depending on the people we talk to and solve the situation with. A lot of us when we think of these kinds of situations, think of poor customer service. At The Wildflower we know that our staff is a big part of each resident’s day and because of this, each person needs to be able to handle their responsibilities with a smile and a great attitude.
Our staff helps our residents with many daily living activities including but not limited to:
For our elderly, it can be hard to admit when help is needed on these activities. Our staff are discreet and kind as they assist in any way that they can. Sometimes family members try to assist loved ones in these activities and that is admirable, but it is also okay to say that you can’t do it alone. We understand that some of the needs may be difficult to accommodate or that other other difficulties may arise while attempting to care for loved ones at home. Our staff strives to help family members adjust to new circumstances gracefully and they are aware of sometimes difficult feelings that may arise. We can help you to know when is the right time by asking certain questions about the loved one’s needs. This also prepares our staff to take care of them to the best of their abilities.
The Wildflower facilities also depend on our staff as much as our residents depend on them. They help our buildings and each resident’s room stay clean and fresh. They also help to decorate for fun events for our residents and keep the atmosphere calm on a daily basis. They also help us to welcome new residents to their rooms and show families around the facilities.
The most wonderful thing about our staff is that they love the residents and strive to get to know them. It would be hard to trust someone with personal needs if you don’t know them and our staff want to help our residents to let down that barrier. Our administrator specifically works to get to know each family and help them to feel comfortable about our level of care. If any family member has a concern they are welcome to call us so that we can help!
We are grateful to our staff every day for making The Wildflower of Rigby the wonderful home that it is for our residents. We know that while the new circumstances may be difficult to adjust to, we hope that all know that we want to take care of them with the utmost care for privacy and dignity. Stay tuned on our socials to learn more about our staff and who each member is as we take some time to introduce you to them!
